meta-mender-core
Mender is an image-based software updater tightly integrated with the Yocto project, licensed under the Apache License Version 2.0 and written in Golang. Mender uses an A/B dual rootfs+kernel partition layout for update resiliency, to handle power loss, storage errors and other failures that could otherwise brick a device. Mender is a client-server application, where the client runs on the target device, allowing updates to be deployed remotely. This meta layer compiles the Mender client and contains the required configuration to partition the target device and create sdcard images. You may also need to include a layer specific to your machine, e.g. `meta-mender-raspberrypi` or `meta-mender-qemu`. See the documentation for more information on how to use this layer: https://docs.mender.io/Artifacts/Building-Mender-Yocto-image.
